ONR and NSF student grant
The ONR and NSF student grants are exhausted! No further request will be considered.
The Office for Naval Research (ONR) and the National Science Foundation (NSF) support 150 student grants for attending the Metamaterials Congress 2021.
The grant consists in the registration fee waiver for attending both the Conference and the EUPROMETA School on “Emerging concepts and Anomalies in Light Scattering”, that will be held ONLINE on September 20-23, 2021, and September 24-25, 2021, respectively.
Please note that you can apply to this grant either if you are an author of one or two accepted paper(s) to the Conference or if you are an attendee without talks. Also, if you have already registred for the Congress and paid the corresponding fee, you will get reimbursed if the grant is awarded.
To apply for the grant, send an email with the following information:
- Your student status and affiliation;
- The motivations you have to attend the Metamaterials Congress;
- (optional) If you have one or more talks accepted at the Conference, you need to specify the corresponding PaperID(s). The PaperID of your submission(s), which has the format MCPCAxxxxx (being x a number), can be found in the "Submission" page under the partecipant profile menu or by clicking here after the log-in.
- (optional) If you have already paid the Congress registration fee, please specify the order number, which has the format MCXXPXXXX (being x a number). It can be found in the "Your orders" page under the partecipant profile menu or by clicking here after the log-in.
The deadline for application is September 15, 2021 or until all grants are exhausted.
After September 15, you will receive a notification about the status of your application. In case you will selected to receive the grant, your email address will be added in the mailing list of the Conference attendees and, during the Congress days, you will receive the links to join the Conference and School sessions.
